Electrical Shift Engineer – Liverpool Street E1 – £47,000
Location: Liverpool Street, London (E1)
Salary: up to £47,000
Hours: 07:00–19:00, Four-on Four-off Day Shift
We are recruiting an Electrical Shift Engineer to join an on-site engineering team supporting a large commercial property near Liverpool Street. The role focuses on delivering planned preventative maintenance and reactive works across electrical building services systems.
Responsibilities of the Electrical Shift Engineer
• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance within a commercial building.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and control equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and compliance standards.
• Accurately complete maintenance reports and shift documentation.
About You as the Electrical Shift Engineer
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within a building services environment.
• Relevant electrical qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
• Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable team player able to work effectively within a shift-based engineering team.
