Lead M&E Engineer | Frimley | £55,000 | Mon to Fri

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Lead Engineer to join one of the UK’s major Facilities Management providers on an established commercial contract in Frimley.

You’ll remain technically hands on while taking responsibility for the day to day engineering operation, supporting the wider team, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring PPM and reactive works are delivered to a high standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading day to day M&E maintenance activities across the site
• Supporting and coordinating the engineering team
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
• Providing technical support with complex faults and breakdowns
• Working across electrical and mechanical building services
• Monitoring PPM schedules and ensuring tasks are completed
• Coordinating specialist subcontractors and planned works
• Supporting permits, RAMS, isolations, and safe systems of work
• Completing site reports and maintaining accurate documentation
• Updating CAFM systems and ensuring jobs are closed correctly
• Liaising with site management and the client
• Maintaining high health, safety, and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services
• Strong commercial building services experience
• Previous Lead Engineer or Senior Engineer experience
• Good knowledge across electrical and mechanical systems
• Strong fault finding and technical ability
• Experience coordinating engineers and contractors
• Good administrative and CAFM skills
• Confident client facing communication skills
• Professional approach with strong leadership ability
