Fabric Technician | Moorgate / Central London | up to 40k package | Mon to Fri |35-Hour Week

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Fabric Technician to join a major client direct organisation in Central London.

This is a permanent in-house position offering a 35-hour working week, excellent benefits, a 10% yearly bonus and a flexible benefits allowance worth around £2,600 per year. The role offers excellent long-term security and development within a well-established estates and building services team.

You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, carrying out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across a large commercial estate.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out planned and reactive fabric maintenance
• Carpentry and basic joinery repairs
• Repairs to doors, locks, handles, hinges and ironmongery
• Painting and decorating
• Making good walls, ceilings and finishes
• Minor plumbing repairs
• Repairing fixtures, fittings and furniture
• Completing basic building repairs
• Carrying out general handyman and maintenance duties
• Identifying defects and escalating larger maintenance issues
• Supporting the wider M&E and estates team
• Liaising with specialist contractors where required
• Completing maintenance records and job updates
• Maintaining a high standard of presentation throughout the estate

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant trade
• Strong fabric or general building maintenance experience
• Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, Plumbing or similar trade background
• Commercial building maintenance experience desirable
• Good practical fault finding and repair skills
• Comfortable working across several different fabric disciplines
• Professional and reliable approach
• Must be able to successfully pass SC Clearance
